Conflict Resolution Program

The Creative Conflict Resolution Program is a 3 day, 20 hour, experiential workshop for 8 to 20 participants, usually led by 2 facilitators. The workshop consists of exercises that address conflict and alternative choices that are non violent. The workshop has four important elements that people need in order to bring about cooperation with others. These are; building community, learning better communication, experiencing self respect for oneself and for others and making better choices when one is in conflict with another.

CCR Workshop Testimonials

"Any preconceived notions of what this class was about or had to offer went out the door within the first couple of hours. We learned to realize that conflict is inevitable but always solvable without the use of violence."
--- Tina

"I learned how similar we all are. We really can communicate and reach resolutions rather than victories.

I learned problems will ALWAYS arise but violence will never solve anything."
--- DeAndre

"I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. I had lived with so much violence and conflict that I never believed or even thought there was a way out or a way to stop the violence. However, even after the first few minutes of this class I felt hope for the first time in my life and started to see that there truly could be life without violence.

You leave this class with lots of info. Not answers. Info to change how you handle situations in life."
--- Marc

"I got insight and realize I need to try alternatives, not to always go with my learned behavior."
---Joe

Looking at another person’s point of view before making decisions was hard before this class. I was surprised by the fact some of my behaviors are actually violent and I never thought of them that way. It was an eye opener.
